Melania Trump has successfully sued an author who is notorious for publishing Conspiracy Theories.
WEBSTER TARPLEY is a blogger and author who has written about CONSPIRACY THEORIES revolving around the events of 9/11 – he has also become well known in the alternative publishing world for his research into the bizarre rituals of Ivy League college fraternities.
Tarpley falsely claimed last year that Melania Trump once worked as a “high end escort.” He also made uncorroborated claims alleging that the first lady was suffering a “nervous breakdown” because of the presidential campaign.
He has since retracted this claim, forced to publish an apology and pay a “substantial sum” to the First Lady as part of a settlement for a defamation lawsuit.
“I posted an article on August 2, 2016 about Melania Trump that was replete with false and defamatory statements about her,” Tarpley said in a statement provided by Trump’s attorneys.
“I had no legitimate factual basis to make these false statements and I fully retract them”
Melania Trump’s lawyers — in comments attributed to Tarpley — wrote in their statement, “I acknowledge that these false statements were very harmful and hurtful to Mrs. Trump and her family, and therefore I sincerely apologize to Mrs. Trump, her son, her husband and her parents for making these false statements.”
The settlement was reached a day after Mrs. Trump sued the Mail Online in New York over a similar allegation that she was once a prostitute before marrying her husband.
Trump’s team has not disclosed the settlement amount, nor have Tarpley’s lawyers.
Tarpley’s published works include [according to Wikipedia];
- George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography (1992) (co-authored with Anton Chaitkin). Reprinted 2004, ISBN 0-930852-92-3.
- 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA – Myth of the 21st Century (2005), Foreword by Thierry Meyssan, ISBN 0-930852-31-1, Fifth edition ISBN 1-61577-111-5 (Nov. 2011).
Tarpley has contributed to publications and blogs which delve behind the scenes of Ivy League fraternities, such as the Yale’s Skull & Bones Brotherhood, a secret society of which President Trump’s administration has a member, as did Barack Obama’s administration.
One of Tarpley’s most infamous editorial contributions is to the book FLESHING OUT SKULL & BONES which gathers historical archive photos and documents and is the first book in the modern era to bring these papers together and weave a thorough critique of the finances, rituals and alleged ceremonies performed by members of Yale University’s elitist Skull & Bones brotherhood – whose members call themselves ‘Bonesmen’.
George Bush Senior, George W Bush, John Kerry and Steve Mnuchin are allegedly all members of the Skull & Bones Ivy League brotherhood scene.
During interviews on the Meet the Press TV show, both George W. Bush and John Kerry dodged questions about their involvement – with George W. Bush actually stating live on air “it’s so secret I can’t talk about it”.
